Our Youth Ministry, under the direction of our Youth Directors, that provides education and fellowship opportunities for Junior High (grades 6-8) and Senior High (grades 9-12) students. These opportunities include:

Sunday School - 9:30am - 10:30 am

Sunday mornings are filled with activities for youth. We have three classes taught by a variety of church members:

The Seekers Class is for 5th and 6th graders and meets in the Manse (the white house next to the church). Throughout the year we explore the New Testament and the Old Testament. Our teachers help us answer questions about the Bible and to answer questions about our faith. Our teachers are fun and exciting. We do a lot of talking, play games, and have fun while we explore the Bible.

The Sermon In The Manse Class is for our Senior High youth. We meet in the manse in the room beside the kitchen. Our class focuses on the Scripture that will be preached that morning in worship. Our goal is to find ways to help us understand what the sermon will be about. Our teacher does not lecture us, rather we use this time to discuss our personal understanding of the passage. If you are looking for a mature place to learn, this is it.

Growing Faith is our Confirmation Class which runs from September through May. This class is designed for youth 7th grade and above who believe they are ready to take the journey which will lead to a public profession of faith and full membership in the Presbyterian Church (USA). We study Baptism, the Lord's Supper, missions, evangelism, confessions, and lots more. We also take "field trips" to worship at other congregations to help us understand why we do things the way we do. This is a challenging class, but it's extremely interesting. At the end of our journey we write a statement of faith as we prepare for our confirmation and to make our personal statement of faith before the congregation.

Youth Fellowships

Sunday afternoons, 4:30-6:30 p.m. 6th - 8th graders meet for recreation, fellowship, discussion and close with dinner.
