Karen serves on the Chair for the Carroll County Ferst Foundation for Childhood Literacy and is an active member of the Carrollton Civic Woman’s Club. “Service became a natural part of my life as a youth as a Girl Scout and with church youth groups.”

“My faith has been a deep part of my life. As a child, my brother was sick and bedridden for many years.  The experience deepened our family love and taught me the strength that God provides each of us even in things we cannot understand. I learned that God has a plan for our lives and we have a responsibility to Him to give our very best effort in all that we do.”

“I have found my work at the church to be very satisfying. It has been a special treat to share my talents and skills here.” Karen served on the Renovation Committee as we renovated the Manse and the Fellowship Hall, kitchen, and old office spaces. She has served on the Stewardship and Finance Committee. “I look forward to serving again.”
