Youth The Youth of CPC believe strongly in God’s call to serve the “least of these.” With many externally focused programs we are able to learn more about God, ourselves, and the world in which we live. Through summer mission trips, participation in World Vision’s 30 Hour Famine, and our own S3 Sandwich Ministry, our youth are faced with issues of poverty, homelessness, and hunger firsthand. We believe each day we are given the opportunity to truly be “a heart in the city” by exhibiting the love of Christ to everyone we meet. Our youth meet each first and third Wednesday night after the Family Night Supper in the Little White House located behind the church for Bible Study. The youth also meet for Sunday School at 9:45 a.m. Please check out the calendar for upcoming youth events.

Children Children hold a special place in the heart of the Carrollton Presbyterian Church family. Sunday School - Many of us have first memories of Bible stories read at bedtime. In our homes, our parents and grandparents begin our journey of faith. But Sunday School is the first time we share faith with other kids our own age. Here we learn that prayer doesn't just happen around the dinner table, and that Jesus will always love us all, no matter what. Those are great lessons for our children to carry into the world. Children in Worship - Here at Carrollton Presbyterian Church, we believe the journey of faith begins in the hearts of our youngest member. By engaging our children in important parts of worship, like Acolytes, bell ringers, and choir singers, they learn that they too are a vital part of our family or faith. Weekly children's sermons help them understand the more complicated concepts of our liturgical scripture and sermon, and fun worksheets keep little minds and hands busy when they've reached the end of their powers of concentration. Nursery - During Sunday School and Worship Service, we offer a nursery experience that is not only fun, but spiritual as well. Our dedicated and qualified attendants keep a careful eye out on our smallest family members, making sure their stay is a safe and happy one. Wednesday Night Activities - Currently, during our monthly Family Night Supper, we offer children's activities as part of our fellowship. As our children's program grows, this will turn into weekly "KID'S ZONE" meeting for fun, fellowship, and Bible study. |
