Children Who Read...Succeed!

Ferst Foundation for Childhood Literacy is active in Carroll County providing new, age-appropriate books to young children ages 0-5 and tools to their parents and caregivers to encourage reading to children from birth. These books are free to the families who receive them. Carroll County Ferst Foundation for Childhood Literacy is actively raising funds to support this cause and provide the books. New studies show us that these children ARE arriving at kindergarten ready to learn!

You can help with a donation designated to Carroll County Ferst Foundation for Childhood Literacy. For more information or to volunteer, ask Karen Hartley or visit the website. www.CarrollFerst.org
