Nobody should go hungry.

In the state of Georgia, 18.9% of people our friends and neighbors don't always know where they will find their next meal.  That means all ages of people- older, younger, kids and babies.

As Disciples of Christ, we are tasked to feed the hungry.  James 2, 15-18 makes it very clear.  “If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that?”

The Carroll County Soup Kitchen offers us a way to share food with people who are hungry. It serves more than 3,000 hot meals each month, often to elderly people on fixed incomes.

The Soup Kitchen always needs volunteers.  Come alone or bring your friends. It's a great way to spend a morning. Our own Dianne Cox works there every week.  Ask her for details or check out the CC Soup Kitchen website at www.carrollcountysoupkitchen.org

You’ll be amazed at how much you are fed while you're there.
