Why Would You Choose to Worship With Us?

The first thing is the welcome.  It's the first thing visitors receive. It's the first thing we give. It may be a look or a spoken word. However the welcome is communicated, it is open and authentic. 'I'm glad you're here, and you will be glad you came, too.

One of the things I liked best about my welcome to Carrollton Presbyterian Church was that no one asked me why I was there or where I had been. They were glad I'd arrived, and they trusted God would show us what we needed to know, if and when we needed to know it.
Here are some of the reasons I am a member: bev_dittmer

  •     Fellowship: You are with a family when you are among us. Expect to be treated like a family member. We accept you as you are and look forward to the next time we'll see you.  We'll also interupt you, elbow you, laugh with you and cry with you. Or, if you like, we'll sit quietly with you in prayer.
  •     Worship: Carrollton Presbyterian Church is traditional and inclusive. Services feel both personal and universal, as though the message were for each alone, and also for each as a part of the world at large.
  •     Ministry: My experience is that I gain from this service. I've heard people say that and didn't understand until it happened to me. I think it's because I believe in the work we do and because of the people I get to work with. And there are many ministries to choose from, so each can find a place to serve with meaning.

Why DO I Attend Carrollton Presbyterian  Church?

MATaylor

I attend Carrollton Presbyterian Church because it brings me great joy.  singing the hymns, being uplifted by the beautiful anthems, and hearing scripture read brings me peace. Pastor Jan's sermons are inspiring and relate to how we can be disciples of Jesus Christ in today's world.

I get encouragement and guidance from sharing conversation and work with fellow believers

I attend CPC because it makes my life happier and renewed with spiritual growth.
